Lil Trap House and The Community

My family and I have visited the Trap Music Museum many times because my wife is from Atlanta.  We reside in Los Angeles, CA and I'm a local business owner in the city. This past weekend, my wife, my kids, and I decided to go to Atlanta to visit my wife's family.  Once we got down there we decided to go to the Trap Music Museum because that's one of our favorite museums to visit when we’re in town so of course we had to go check it out for ourselves.  My wife and I are big fans of TI. When we went to the museum, the first thing you saw was a 2Chainz installation of his pink trap house. When you go further into the museum they give you a brief history of how Trap Music was created and the symbolism behind it.  You also get to see the different awards TI has one over his rap career. While viewing the museum I saw a poster that illustrated that TI was opening up a permanent museum for the Lil Trap House that was originally a pop-up. We got a chance to visit the pop-up while it was open.  At the museum in Los Angeles you saw LA artists such as YG and late Nipsey Hussle. But what the museum didn’t have was more history of West Coast artists on how it all started. When I visited it I saw that this museum could have the opportunity to have a big impact in the city. The same way the Trap Music Museum shows you the history of the artists that made trap music is, the LA location can do the same.  I emailed the company wondering if theres a way my business could help them transition into the community. After talking to the managers of the museum we were able to come up with a donation drive that we will throw leading up to the opening of the museum in 2020. I can’t wait for the community to see what the museum has in store for the people.
