Joe Daze Interview

We recently sat down with one of the people from RILA also known as Raised In Los Angeles.  New things that are coming to the people this fall and etc. so check it out

Who are you and what are you all about ?

My names Joe aka lil psycho, hahaha. Nah I'm kidding. I'm all about being true to yourself. I can't stand people who let others alter their opinion or choices. But then again how else would the weak strive in this world?

Were are you originally from?

 RIL.A. CALIFORNIA.

How was RILA created?

One word. Ken

What type of fashion do you like?
I like the clean conservative look.

What clothing lines do you look up to?

Supreme, Diamond, The Hundreds, pretty much anything on fairfax.
Hahahahaha please don't take that seriously. I don't look up to no brands but shout outs to my mans Jamil Gray at The Established and Will over at DURKL.

Who motivates you?

Been staring at this question for about an hour, thats a tough one.
I would say my family and my future child. I come from a rough neighborhood but never fell into gangs & shit. Aside from what a lot of people may think I don't come from money ( I hope my hoes aint reading this).  I wanted a way to make long term money without selling drugs and jeopardizing everything my mom has sacrificed to pay for my school so I gotta get it for my fam. I didn't have my mom n dads pockets to fund my shit when we first started. Every drop that RILA has ever put out was funded by some stolen shit from hittin licks. We schemed to survive, so when we say we're bout that life my friend don't question us.
However my biggest motive is my kid. I may not have one yet but when I do I wish to provide him everything in life my parents could not provide for me.
To say money is the motive wouldn't be a lie but it isn't why I do this.

What was your first job and what did you do with your first paycheck?

In-House Graphic Designer at DURKL. I copped me a Bottle, weed and some condoms. It was a good day.

How do you feel about celebrities getting all the free goodies when they are the people who can afford the goodies?

I'm all for it. They wear it, people see it, they want it and I get rich. Ayeee!

What is your favorite piece of clothing you have dropped?
RILA X THE ESTABLISHED HENNESSY HAT.

how are your clothes different from other designers?
I'm not gonna sit here n feed you some bullshit on how I'm some revolutionary designer. Shit... I do got credentials though unlike most cats, but I don't try to be different. I make clothes for my niggas. RILA is our uniform, fuck being different we're just out here gittin it!

Do you have anything coming out this fall
Yea we do. We'll be dropping it within the next two weeks. Follow @TheRilaRabble to stay posted.

Any last words to the people?

Find your niche n stick to it. I see to many people give up on themselves. It's saddens me to see my friends posted on the "block" wasting away on drugs with no ambition to get out of this hell hole. Always better yourself and don't be the one to get left behind. Git yours! , my words of wisdom and bullshit @ImRila.
