We recently sat down wit the creator of FTP and got to see what he is all bout and what he has coming soon for the people





Who are you and what are you all about?

ZacFTP and basically making explicit clothing.

Were are you originally from?

Born and raised in Los Angeles

How was FTP created?

FTP was created when I was 16 by me from a random phrase that popped into my head which was "fuck the people"
Which then changed to fuck the population because I hadn't ever heard that before, then I spelled the fuck backwards to make it more discreet.

What type of fashion do you like?

Streetwear, by independent brands

What clothing lines do you look up to?

HUF where I worked for a year, DPI run by a kid same age as me, and freedminds.

Who motivates you?

I would say that fans of my work motivate me, everytime I release something the hype is a big motivation to keep on doing what I do.

How long have you worked as a designer?

I have never took on designing, I have a graphic artist.

What are some of your favorite clothing stores/catalogs/websites?

My favorite store used to be reserve on Fairfax until it closed down, favorite website is my own, I don't even bother to look at any other companies except for ones run by homies.

What do you believe makes a quality article of clothing?

Time, everything now adays is rushed or has 0 meaning,

Do you prefer sketching designs or actually constructing them?

Since I have a graphic designer all my ideas and twisted thoughts just go to him and be brings them to life, and when it comes to designs of hats I build them completely from scratch sourcing materials etc.

How do you feel about celebrities getting all the free goodies when they are the people who can afford the goodies?

Shits lame,I guess product placement is important though but I only support people who support me, like some of the people you see im my lookbooks.

What is your favorite piece of clothing you have dropped?

The blue floral 5 panel I just released, and the baseball jersey I did, took my time with those, came out tight.

Do you have anything new coming to the people in the next few months?

Cut & Sew

No, fuck them.

Lil Trap House and The Community

My family and I have visited the Trap Music Museum many times because my wife is from Atlanta.  We reside in Los Angeles, CA and I'm a local business owner in the city. This past weekend, my wife, my kids, and I decided to go to Atlanta to visit my wife's family.  Once we got down there we decided to go to the Trap Music Museum because that's one of our favorite museums to visit when we’re in town so of course we had to go check it out for ourselves.  My wife and I are big fans of TI. When we went to the museum, the first thing you saw was a 2Chainz installation of his pink trap house. When you go further into the museum they give you a brief history of how Trap Music was created and the symbolism behind it.  You also get to see the different awards TI has one over his rap career.
