We recently sat down with a few members from DMP and got to know all of them a little bit and what there all about so check it out


Who are you guys and what are you all about?
Rachel Marie:
We are a group of chicks that are just really supporting each other in our individual dreams and shit. Some of us sing, dance, act, or take really cool pictures. And we look damn good while doing it too!

Taylor Zaria:
Young revolutionaries. Odd ones
Good vibes & Good times. All of us are friend that all have a mentality of follow your dreams, and help each other work towards them

Lauren Rich:
We are a group of close friends who support each other in reaching for our dreams in becoming what we want to be in life .

Bobbie :
We're just a group of hilarious, beautiful, talented girls with dreams, goals and and a passion for everything we do.

Mecca Coleman:
Rebels, pioneers, eventually legends. Staying chill, laid back and helping each other achieve their goals!

Gill:
We are DMP and we are all about black pride and bitches.

Rachel Marie:
 I'm from Los Angeles.

Taylor Zaria:

Rachel Marie:
Fuck sports!

Taylor Zaria:
Awk. Sports

Lauren Rich:
The Dallas Cowboys , but only for their cheerleaders tho #sus

Bobbie Debarge:
I don't fuck with sports haha

Mecca Coleman:
NY Knicks, Chicago Bulls.
NY Jets, ATL Falcons.

Gill:
Galaxy, la lakers, and Chicago bulls

How was DMP created?
Rachel Marie:
I've always wanted like hella homies. Growing up i would always look at death row, tlc, dip set, and bad boy! I don't know I just thought it was sooo cool they had a gang of homies that were down with one another. So I created that for myself Hahahaha a little selfish of me but its turning out to be a win win situation!

Taylor Zaria:
Just happened. fate I guess.

Lauren Rich:
My bestfriend Rachel Harris created DMP , Idk how but who cares ! Niggahs is happy .

Bobbie Debarge:
Rachel Marie Harris has a major interest in music and producing and she decided to make a movement out of it and now there are a bunch of us with many talents doing the shit we love and getting great attention from it.

Mecca Coleman:
Destiny chose the members of DMP..nobody's choice..

Gill:
-Rachel Bobbie and I were at school one day and Rachel said DMP and we agreed and BAM datz it

Who are your heroes?
Rachel Marie:
Tupac and Frank Sinatra

Taylor Zaria:
Pharrel,  Gandhi

Lauren Rich:
My heros are The D & Batman , maybe not The D but defiantly Batman

Bobbie Debarge:
TLC, Mariah Carey, Alyah,

Mecca Coleman:
My heroes: Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson.

Gill:
-Michelle Obama

Where do you feel art is going?
Rachel Marie:
Everyone is being more free with expression because a lot more is excepted. So I really feel like art is going in an amazing direction!

Taylor Zaria:
Art is letting it all out. People are starting to tell their true thoughts, and feelings in their music, fashion, drawings & poems. No matter how harsh.

Bobbie Debarge:
Art is talent.

Mecca Coleman:
Art is going wherever you want it to go. That's why it's art. It can go into music, into writing, into dancing or singing. It's all a decision you have to find within to determine your passion.

Gill:
All the way to NYU Tish!!


How hard do you push yourself?
Rachel Marie:
To the limit. I'm to hard on myself.

Taylor Zaria:
As hard as needed to get what I need done.

Lauren Rich:
Usually I push my myself really hard to the point were I get frustrated but I don't really like to be frustrated so I go 99% instead of 100%

Bobbie Debarge:
All the way to the limit.
I even push myself to learn new things that in the beginning think to myself "there is no way I can master this."

Mecca Coleman:
I push myself 110% as much as I can! As long as I'm capable of doing my best, I show that!

Gill:
Extremely insanely hard..


Whats the magic formula for success?
Rachel Marie:
I'll let you know when I reach what I've defined success to be.

Taylor Zaria:
Different people have different thoughts on what they think being successful is. The magic is doing what you love I guess.

Lauren Rich:
A Goal + Real Niggahs + Hardwork = SUCESS

Bobbie Debarge:
I feel like everyone has their own definition of success and I haven't reached it yet but when I do I will let you know.

Mecca Coleman:
Magic Formula to Succeed: It's whatever your passion is..whatever you truly love to do!

Gill:
To follow your dreams and never give up... Put in 100% for everything and NEVER GIVE UP!!



Where do you want to go with this?
Rachel Marie:
With dmp, I just want us all to have accomplished every single thing that we've ever dreamed of. Seeing smiles on the faces of people i really care about is all i need from this. So ima try my best to make that happen for all my friends!

Taylor Zaria:
Far to the point where I can live life the way I want to.
Do what the fuck I want. Whenever.
No limitations.
Take my family and crew where we want to be. Have the fucking best memories

Lauren Rich:
I want all of DMP to reach their goals & hopefully when people look at us we can inspire them to be sus & live their life how they want .

Bobbie Debarge:
I want to make a movement I want people to look up to us i want to be people's role model.


Mecca Coleman:
I want this to be as successful as we can make it! As long as I'living the life with No Worries, I'm alright.

Gill:
I hope to become a global positive sensation that young people look up to us for inspiration.

What do you do on your spare time?
Rachel Marie:
I like Hangout in the streets with the crew. Hahahaha we be thuggin.

Taylor Zaria:
Graphic design, music. Write. Concerts. Coolin with my people, I don't get bored of them. Ever.. Aha

Lauren Rich:
In my spare time I like to eat food .

Bobbie Debarge:
School, record, film, take pictures, kick it with #DMP

Mecca Coleman:
Spare time: Chill with the girls, sing, write poetry, write music, read, eat, laugh, sleep, concerts, listen to music

Gill:
Dance in my room!



Who do you have no respect for?

Rachel Marie:
My remote! Sometimes it just really doesn't work.


Taylor Zaria:
People who don't fuck with themselves. If you're not fuckin with yourself then we ain't fuckin with you. No dream .No goals. No respect.


Lauren Rich:
I have respect for anyone who's down to chase their dreams & strive for success .

Bobbie Debarge:
People who have no goals and no plans for their future and spend all day not being productive and ruining their bodies and futures with harsh drugs.
Mecca Coleman:
I have respect for everyone. I just dislike ignorant people. Ignorance is my biggest pet peeve!

Gill:
People who don't have respect for themselves

What are some food places you guys like to eat at?


Rachel Marie:
ROSCOES, IHOP, DENNY'S (after the turn up that was hella real) and this sushi place at the topanga mall! It's fire yo'! But I don't know the name of it ahaha

Taylor Zaria:
Praise Roscoes, and sushi.
Denny's saves your pennies! Aha
In and out Is no joke. Can't get enough, I'm fat.

Lauren Rich:
Some food places we like to eat at is Bj's McDonalds and our all time favorite Roscoes Chicken & Waffles, AYEEE TURN UP

Bobbie Debarge:
IHOP, Denny's, BJ'S, Roscoes our houses haha right before or after we do some stupid shit lol

Mecca Coleman:
In N Out, Roscoe's, Xen's..we hit all da spots uppp!

Gill:
Chipotle in n out and anywhere with nachos

Any last words you want to say to the people?

Rachel Marie:
#TheStruggleIsRealYall Keep ya head up! ahaha naw really stay loyal to the people that show you mad love and evade playa haters. Success is in your near future if you do that!

Taylor Zaria:
#DMP that young struggle. Don't stop won't stop. A work in progress, sus asses

Lauren Rich:
We are a movement.

Bobbie Debarge:
#DMP Is #thestruggle but we're already making movements that we never knew would happen and it feels so great to have people say that they want to be apart of our clique look out for us because the struggle WILL be televised Trill Shit Bruhh 

Mecca Coleman:
The struggle wiiill be televised. #DMP always mobbin' somewhere..get ready for a movement..Gonna go for a hike!
